Rose LeBoeuf - Owner
At the age of 13, Rose's passion for creating beautifully prepared meals was ignited when she helped make Thanksgiving dinner for the first time. Since then, her talents for recipe and menu development, as well as cooking, have delighted clients, friends and family. In 2005, she joined the LA Food Works team and brought with her a special combination of culinary, entertaining and event planning skills.
Her enthusiasm for sharing her culinary knowledge motivated her to become a shareholder, and now the sole owner, of LA Food Works. Rose believes that "nothing is as universally bonding for people as enjoying a great tasting, thoughtfully prepared meal together. Cooking can be one of the most caring things we can do for one another, especially in this age of take-out. Through my work at LAFW, I feel I am helping to nurture the world around me."
Rose has a Pro-Chef degree from the Epicurean School of Cooking in Los Angeles and she has taken professional cooking series courses in New York and New Orleans. She has degrees in Business Management and Psychology from Loyola Marymount University. As chair of dozens of fundraising committees for non-profits in Los Angeles, Rose has headed events for groups of upward to 300 people. She regularly volunteers and contributes food to the local community centers that provide meals to homeless men, women and children. She has hosted many celebrity chefs in her kitchen including Bobby Flay, Cat Kora, Curtis Stone, and Jason Roberts. Rose also has three wonderful teenagers and she lovingly cooks for them as often as possible. |
