LA Foodworks Cooking School and Events


Spring-Summer 2019

In 2003, LA Food Works opened our kitchen doors and welcomed our guest to come cook and learn with our wonderful chefs.  We have happily shared our tricks, tips and skills with our clients in this our signature event.  We look forward to continuing to share with you and your guests our love of all things in the kitchen!

For your event, you will  select 1 Entrée & 1 Dessert for you and your guests. 
Many entrees offer the option of more than one protein
Hors d’oeuvres are prepared by LA Food Works and served as guests arrive 

Entrée Selections

Grilled Flank Steak with Roasted Red Pepper Relish
(This option can also be done with steak, chicken and/or salmon)
Roasted Eggplant, Tomato and Cucumber Salad
Cauliflower and Black Olive Gratin
Farro with Artichoke and Fresh Herbs

 Guava Glazed Cornish Game Hens
(This option can also be done with hens and/or salmon)
Avocado Salad with Carrot-Ginger Dressing
Summer Squash Curry
Turmeric Coconut Rice with Spinach

 Grilled Honey Glazed Chicken with Peach Mustard
(This option can also be done with chicken and/or salmon)
Crushed Beet and Potato Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette
Grilled Asparagus with Rhubarb Butter
Sour Cream and Scallion Drop Biscuits

 Pan Roasted Salmon with Fennel and Rosemary Drizzled with Basil Oil
(This option can be done with salmon and/or chicken)
Wilted Kale Salad with Roasted Cherry Tomato Vinaigrette and Crispy Bread Crumbs
Grilled Zucchini and Leeks with Yogurt and Shaved Walnuts
Carrot Tart with Ricotta and Herbs

 Grilled Chipotle Rubbed Short Ribs with Avocado-Corn Salsa
